Our workshop location is nestled in the quiet hills of Northern Utah’s Cache Valley, Golden Hour Farm offers a stunning backdrop unlike anywhere else. Rolling pastures, rugged mountain views, and the iconic Scottish Highland cattle create a one-of-a-kind setting that’s both wild and welcoming. This is a private working ranch, far from the crowds, where golden light stretches across the fields and every corner feels like a perfect frame.

12:00 – 12:20 PM | Welcome, Introduction & Safety Brief
- Kick off with a group welcome, overview of the day’s flow, safety around livestock and horses, ranch guidelines, and a chance for participants to ask questions before shooting begins.
12:20 – 1:00 PM | Highland Cows
- Photograph the iconic Highland cattle in the pastures. Wide landscapes, portraits, and rugged textures to set the tone.
1:00 – 1:15 PM | Transition / Short Break
1:15 – 2:00 PM | Cowboys & Cowgirls Herding Cattle
- Dynamic action shots with riders working the herd—ideal for capturing movement and western storytelling.
2:00 – 2:15 PM | Transition / Reset
2:15 – 3:00 PM | Western Bride & Groom
- Styled couple shoot with romantic western details staged against the scenic ranch backdrop.
3:00 – 3:30 PM | Break / Light Snack
- Recharge, review shots, and prep for the afternoon golden light.
3:30 – 4:15 PM | Rider Carrying an American Flag
- Patriotic and bold imagery with open pastures and sweeping mountain views for dramatic framing.
4:15 – 4:30 PM | Transition / Setup for Evening Scene
4:30 – 5:30 PM | Cowboys Around the Campfire
- End the day with authentic campfire storytelling. Capture the glow of firelight mixed with the fading golden hour for moody, rugged portraits.
